About Montevista Mustangs

The Montevista Mustangs, a part of Albuquerque Roller Derby, represents the spirit of fierce competition and intense athleticism. As a roller derby team, we strive to entertain our fans while showcasing the skills and passion that drive our sport.

Meet Our Skaters

Our team is comprised of talented individuals who push themselves to their limits to deliver unforgettable roller derby action. From agile jammers to strong blockers, our skaters bring a unique combination of skills, strength, and strategy to every game.

Sarah "Smashdown" Johnson - Captain

Sarah Johnson, also known as "Smashdown," is the heart and soul of our team. With exceptional leadership qualities and a remarkable understanding of the game, Sarah leads the Mustangs with unwavering enthusiasm and determination.

Michael "Mad Blocker" Rodriguez - Vice Captain

Michael Rodriguez, aka "Mad Blocker," is a formidable force on the roller derby track. Known for his exceptional blocking skills and lightning-fast maneuvers, Michael plays a crucial role in our team's defense.
